Alyssa Ginsburg

Cytopoetics Managing Director

Alyssa Ginsburg is an experienced event organizer, A&R representative and booking/PR agent with ties to the spoken word and indie music scenes in Toronto. Originally from Highland Park, Illinois she is a graduate of Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario. Alyssa is a community activist at the local level on issues such as food safety, tenants’ rights, civic engagement and economic justice. She has also been involved in international development work in Honduras and Ecuador, and travelled extensively in Latin America. Alyssa joined the Cytopoetics team in summer 2011 and was a key figure in the creation of Bill Brown’s 1-2-3 Slam and YorkSlam.
