Rajie Kabli

Cytopoetics Events Manager

Rajie Kabli is a well-travelled poet who has worked in Canada, South Korea and Japan as a teacher, writer and freelance journalist. She currently works for the Markham Times as a community journalist and with Rogers TV as a broadcast reporter in her hometown of Markham, Ontario. Rajie is a co-founder of Canada’s newest poetry slam series, YorkSlam, which is the first monthly series of its kind in York Region. Her background in conflict resolution mediation will come in handy as a slam host and event organizer! Rajie joined Cytopoetics in late 2011 with the aim of bringing forth the positive potential in Cytopoetics Events and infusing the company with the passion for adventure she gained overseas.
