BB123 Slam Toronto Rankings

How to read the rankings:

Information is listed in this order: Overall Rank. poetname – Placement Rank, Score Rank, Total Score
Example:
3. Poet X – 5, 4, 9
(i.e. Poet X is ranked 5th in placement, 4th in score, resulting in a total score of 9, leaving Poet X ranked 3rd overall)

In the calculations, poets who have slammed twice or more will always be ranked ahead of poets who have slammed once.

Rankings for Bill Brown’s 1-2-3 Slam are based upon the Frankson-Priske Ranking Method originally devised for Capital Slam in Ottawa. Each poet is ranked relative to other poets in two categories: placement (how a poet placed at the end of the night) and slam score (a poet’s best scoring performance at a specific show). For overall rankings, the Placement Rank and the Slam Rank are added together to find a Total Score. The poets are then ranked overall. The lower a score, the better the ranking.
